The EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) requires that all community water systems prepare and maintain an inventory of service line materials by October 16, 2024.
Cameron Parish Waterworks District #11 which consists of PWS LA1023011-Sweet Lake and PWS 1023013-Big Lake has no lead service lines or galvanized lines requiring replacement. This was determined by reviewing construction drawings, permits for new lines and line upgrades, customer service records, maintenance records, visual inspection and by identifying those services installed after the lead ban implemented by the State of Louisiana as of September 20, 1988.
